Aaqib Javed Reckons It Will Not Be Easy For India To Score 300 Runs Against Bowling-Heavy Pakistan

Indian Cricket Team would be keen to win the T20I Series against New Zealand after thrashing them in ODIs. The Men in Blue in T20Is haven’t been able to play according to their credentials. The batters have looked scratchy against Black Caps spin unit.

Skipper Mitchell Santner needs someone apart from Devon Conway who can hold one end. The visitors have got a decent batting line up but they are lagging behind in the middle-overs phase which is hurting the team. Glenn Phillips hasn’t been able to make big runs for the team which is a concern.

Aaqib Javed On India

Aaqib Javed was having an interaction with Geo Tv and made a huge statement about India.

“Pakistan has always given India a tough time. When the Pakistan team goes to India for the World Cup, it will not face any problems in playing on the pitches there. Although recently India scored a lot of runs against New Zealand in the ODI series. But the bowling of Pakistan is not the bowling of New Zealand, so the Indian batsmen scored four hundred runs,” said Aaqib Javed.

“Pakistan cricket team is better in ODI cricket as it has an advantage due to bowling. Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah are fully fit, so it will benefit the team. Pakistan has Shadab Khan along with Mohammad Nawaz in India, so there will be no need for fast bowling all-rounder. If Pakistan scores 300 runs, then it will be very difficult for the other team to chase it down,” he added.

Great Chance for New Zealand

The Black Caps would have got an idea that how fragile India’s batting lineup is in the absence of KL Rahul, Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma. The visitors need to be aware of Suryakumar Yadav as the batter played a different kind of innings in the 2nd T20I match.

Skipper Hardik Pandya has a conundrum as to whether to back Shubman Gill after a string of low scores or bring back destructive Prithvi Shaw into the lineup. Prithvi Shaw hasn’t played for India since 2021 and has been piling on runs in the domestic circuit.
