The Proteas are now staring at a clean sweep and will need to play out of their skins to win the Test match. Kagiso Rabada have led the attack with 10 wickets but has failed to get support from the rest of the batters. Dean Elgar has scored 31 runs in two Test matches. His loss of form is a big reason why South Africans have been bundled out cheaply in the first two Tests. They endured an innings defeat in the second Test.

Australia, on the other hand, have been supremely confident in the series. David Warner scored a double ton in his 100th Test. He is the top-scorer as well with 203 runs from the first two Tests. Alongside him, the likes of Steve Smith, Alex Carey and Travis Head have also contributed heavily.
