“Bangladesh Tour A Good Preparation For Australia Series”- Vikram Rathour

[ad_1]

Indian Cricket Team is all set to lock horns against Bangladesh Cricket Team for the 2nd Test Match at Dhaka. The Men in Blue had to toil a lot in the opening Test Match. It was a collective effort from the bowlers in the 2nd innings and made a statement that they are not dependent on a particular individual

Bangladeshi Tigers would be delighted as batting on the 4th & 5th day is never easy irrespective of the conditions. The debutant Zakir Hasan showed a lot of promise and it looked as if he had played 30-odd Test Matches. The hosts would be well aware of the fact that India would be ready for all sorts of challenges.

Vikram Rathour on Bangladesh Pitch

Vikram Rathour was seen attending the press conference and was asked about pitches. “When you play in conditions in the subcontinent, you expect wickets to turn and after this series we are going to play against Australia where we are expecting wickets to turn. Good practice and good preparation for us. Expecting this (2nd Test Match) pitch to have more bounce. We will see how it plays and look to play accordingly.” said Vikram Rathour.

Great Chance for India

The batters like KL Rahul & Shreyas Iyer need to get some runs under their belt as Australia would be a completely different ball game. All eyes would be on Virat Kohli as the batter was bamboozled in the 1st innings by Taijul Islam.

India has to make sure that they don’t make the mistake of taking Bangladesh lightly. The wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant has been a force to reckon with as his breezy knock in the 1st innings changed the complexion of the match. It would be interesting to see how the match turns out as Bangladesh would be quite threatening as they have got nothing to lose.
