Sunil Gavaskar made some interesting comments on Arshdeep Singh during the 2nd ODI match. “He has got a very good bouncer and bowls a great yorker as well. He certainly is a prospect, big prospect… even for red-ball cricket because if he can get the white-ball to swing so much, imagine what he will do with the red ball. And of course, he also brings a left-handed dimension to any attack.” said Sunil Gavaskar.

“He’s got pace, can get the ball to move so. Just like Jasprit Bumrah started off with the white-ball and went on to become such an effective, top-class Test match bowler, Arshdeep Singh is someone to keep an eye on.” he added.

Critical Match for India

This decider will give the selection panel a fair idea that how the team fares in the absence of senior players. It is assumed that Hardik would continue to lead the side. It won’t be wrong to say that New Zealand has an upper hand as they have got quite a few match-winners present in the side.

The Men in Blue would be hoping that Shubman Gill hits form as the batter has looked in two minds whether to attack or defend. Perhaps, the management should use Prithvi Shaw at No.3 number and bolster their batting line up as the skipper Hardik Pandya can play the role of 5th bowler.
