IND vs NZ: Watch – Arshdeep Singh Takes A Jaw Dropping Catch Of Michael Bracewell In 2nd T20I Match Against New Zealand

[ad_1]

New Zealand Cricket Team had won the toss & elected to bat first. The visitors didn’t make any changes to their lineup. India included the star leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal into the setup & dropped the right-arm speedster, Umran Malik.

New Zealand had a disastrous start to their innings as they were reduced to 60-5 in 12.4 overs. It won’t be wrong to say that the pitch was a minefield where New Zealand batters were clueless against the spinners. Skipper Hardik Pandya rotated his spinners quite smartly.

Arshdeep Singh Takes A Blinder

At the end of 16 overs, New Zealand’s score was 76-5 where Michael Bracewell was on 12 runs in 18 balls whereas Mitchell Santner was on 8 runs in 10 balls. Skipper Hardik Pandya was bowling the 17th over, on the last ball of the over, Hardik bowled a short delivery where Bracewell top edged the ball and Arshdeep took a terrific catch at fine leg boundary. New Zealand’s score at that time was 80-6 and Bracewell got out on 14 runs in 22 balls.

New Zealand in deep trouble

The Black Caps are in serious trouble as they would be hoping that they don’t get bundled out. All eyes would be on the skipper Mitchell Santner as he will have to make sure that the team goes past 100 run mark which would give the team an outside chance of winning the match.

India would have got an idea that scoring on this pitch won’t be easy. They should not allow Santner to unleash attack as couple of big overs can make the contest spicier. It would be interesting to see how Arshdeep & Mavi fare after a forgettable outing in the 1st T20I match.
