IND vs SL: “Sachin Tendulkar Would Be The Happiest If…”

The Sri Lankan Cricket Team was outplayed by the mighty Men in Blue who won the match by 67 runs. The island nation looked in all sorts of trouble while chasing 374. Virat Kohli, the star Indian batter smashed a gigantic century and scored his 45th ODI & 73rd International century.

Sri Lankan bowlers bowled quite defensively where they allowed the batters to settle in. Skipper Dasun Shanaka should have bowled more overs as he had got the huge wicket of Shubman Gill. The management should bring back Maheesh Theekshana back into the playing 11 as the spinner bowls quite a wicket to wicket.

Saba Karim on Virat Kohli

Saba Karim was having an interaction with India News sports and was asked about Virat Kohli. “Sachin Tendulkar would be the happiest if Virat Kohli broke his record of scoring the most ODI centuries. With the kind of form that he is in, I think he is going to break that record very soon. I don’t think Kohli is playing for records at the moment. He aims to win the World Cup for Team India and is completely focused on that,”  said Saba Karim.

Great Chance for India

The Men in Blue would be well aware of the fact that they cannot get complacent as the island nation have a surprise element in them. Skipper Rohit Sharma would be worried after seeing Umran Malik getting thrashed. The speedster took 3 wickets but gave away 57 runs in his 3 overs.

Skipper Dasun Shanaka would consider himself promoting up the order as the right-handed batter struck a turbulent century in the 1st ODI. The batter has got a wide range of shots and most importantly he rotates the strike on a consistent basis which is priceless in modern cricket.
