Virat Kohli Does Not Do Two Things- Sanjay Bangar Opens Fire Against His Own RCB Players Ahead Of Border-Gavaskar Trophy

The World Cricket is going to witness a cracker of the Test Series between India and Australia commencing on 9th February. The former skipper Virat Kohli would be keen to make a mark against the Aussies as in the last 3 Series he hasn’t performed according to his credentials.

Australia would sense a golden opportunity to end the drought of 19 years where Aussies had won the Test Series in India way back in 2004. This time, the visitors have got a lot of match-winners present in the side unlike in 2013 & 2017  when their middle order was fragile.

Sanjay Bangar on Virat Kohli

Sanjay Bangar was having an interaction with Star Sports and was asked about Virat Kohli’s woes against Nathan Lyon.

“Virat Kohli does not do two things due to which he faces a lot of difficulties against Nathan Lyon. One, he does not believe much in stepping out, he plays more from the crease and then he does not play the sweep as well,” said Sanjay Bangar.

“So where will he score runs against Nathan Lyon? So he will have to change his approach slightly. We have already seen in this season that he has used his feet slightly more, although he might have done it in the shorter format. He will have to do that,” he added.

Enthralling Series on Cards

This would be the first major Test Series of Skipper Rohit Sharma where he would be tested thoroughly. Rohit would be bothered as to whether to pick KL Rahul or Shubman Gill in the opening slot as we all know that Shubman Gill is in the form of his life and had a productive Bangladesh Tests.

The visitors have been dealt with a massive blow as Starc isn’t available for the 1st Test match due to a finger injury. Starc is also a handy left-handed batter who can score 30-odd runs at the back end of the innings which can change the complexion of the match.
