Indian Cricket Team thrashed Sri Lanka in the 3rd ODI and won the match by 317 runs. The Men in Blue would be pumped up with this performance as this is the biggest win in the history of ODI Cricket. Mohammed Siraj was the wrecker in chief where he took 4 wickets for 32 runs in his 10-over spell.

Sri Lanka would be in a state of shock as not a single batter scored 20 runs in the steep chase of 391 runs. The team getting bundled out in 22 overs is quite embarrassing. It won’t be wrong to say that Sri Lanka hasn’t been able to convert their T20 form into an ODI circuit.

Mohammed Siraj on his Spell

Mohammed Siraj was having an interaction with media and was asked about his spell. “I wanted to try and get my first fifer. Tried very hard, but you get only as much you deserve. The outswing was coming out nicely, but the wicket-taking over was the scrambled seam. I just try to generate some doubt in the batter’s mind with those outswing deliveries. Captain tried hard to get me that fifer, but what we can do.” said Mohammed Siraj.

The Men in Blue would be ecstatic with the performance as Shubman Gill smashed a terrific century and was looking in sublime touch. The right handed batter scored 116 runs in 97 balls where he struck 14 fours and 2 sixes. It looks like that Shubman Gill has seized the opening slot.
