“It was a brilliant start. a dream come true. whatever we were doing it was in our favour. We kept things simple and told everyone go and play your natural game, being there and expressing yourselves and backing your skills.”
“I will watch the ball and back myself. Not think too much and react to the situation. It worked my way. We knew it was a very good batting wicket, we discussed if we hit the right area it won’t be easy and that’s what the bowlers executed perfectly. The way we started we want to continue.”
Mumbai Indians will be on cloud nine after their big win over Gujarat Giants and will be looking to carry the momentum into their next fixture as they face Royal Challengers Bangalore in their upcoming game on 6th March.
